10 Fun Bento Box School Lunches Ideas

Today for my weekly inspiration post I thought I would share ideas for 10 Fun Bento Box School Lunches.

Bean started kindergarten this week. How time flies I tell you. As you may recall my girl is a picky eater, the one thing that I am dreading about her being in school is packing a lunch for her. Her school doesn’t have a hot lunch program so it’s mom and dad packing her lunch Monday-Friday.

When I ask Bean what she wants in her lunch I get the same answer every time “A cheese sandwich please.” I’d like to make her lunch fun and special so today I decided to find 10 fun bento box school lunches that are twists on traditional sandwiches.

  1. these are adorable! There’s so much love put into these lunches.

  2. These are WONDERFUL! Our oldest is a 5th grader this year and now going to the “big school.” I’ve always packed his lunch in the past and we thought we’d give school lunch a try this year (the menu looked decent) and withing 2 days he announced there “wasn’t enough food” and “you pack a better lunch anyway, Mom” 🙂

  3. What cute ideas! I don’t really have the skills for these types of lunches, but I do pre-pack baggies with snack choices in the fridge and then let the kids grab what they like in the morning. I found my picky eaters are more likely to eat if they chose the options!

  4. This is so neat! I’ve been wondering exactly what Bento was…just haven’t stopped to look it up. Thee look really cool though…I’m not sure I have the skills to pull them off though…lol

  5. Cute! I wish I could hire someone to do this for me because I would never have the patience. I basically just spread some peanut butter and jelly on some bread and call it a day.

  6. My kids get a turkey sandwich and an apple. Please don’t show them these pictures.

  8. Thanks for sharing these cool ideas. With my son starting school this year, I am a bit nervous about the whole lunch everyday thing. What to pack! This is fun inspiration. I like the sandwich ideas.

  9. Oh my goodness, so cute! My 23 month old daughter saw my computer screen and ran over yelling “kitty! kitty!” 🙂 I showed her your lunch box pictures and she was so impressed.
