8 Adorable Kids Birthday Party Ideas and a Giveaway for a $50 Sears Canada Gift CardAs many of you know… I am a Pinterest addict. I could literally spend hours browsing through Pinterest sorting through beautiful projects, delicious recipes and fabulous clothing and hairstyles. Pinterest is my very favorite social media platform. I’m a visual person and Pinterest allows me to visually catalogue things I want to remember for later. One of my favorite categories to browse through on Pinterest is kids birthday parties. I LOVE birthdays, always have, always will. Our children’s birthdays are a great excuse to reflect on the past year, chronicle milestones that our little ones have reached and make them feel like the world revolves around them for the day… wait the world doesn’t always revolve around them??? 😉

I will never be the type of mom who spends thousands of dollars on their child’s birthday party, however I love browsing through party planning sites for key elements that I could bring to life in my own children’s birthday parties.

Today I hit Pinterest to share some of my very favorite kids birthday party ideas with you.

Balloons anchored with Golf TeesBalloons anchored with golf tees from Pretty Geeky. My dream is one day to have a house with a big back yard where we can have fabulous outdoor birthday parties. I love this idea of anchoring balloons into the grass using golf tees. It’s an inexpensive way to decorate that has a huge impact.

Little Red Racing Car Birthday PartyLittle Red Racing Car Birthday from Little Big Company. This birthday party is every little boy’s dream. What boys don’t like racing cars? My favorite element from this would have to be the real, live racetrack that they built in their back yard! Push vehicle races would make a really fun birthday party activity to get all the sugar rush energy out after eating the cake.

Disneys-Frozen-themed-birthday-party-full-of-ideas-Via-KarasPartyIdeas.com-frozen-frozenpartyDisney Frozen Birthday Party from Kara’s Party Ideas. Just about every little girl that I know, Bean included, is obsessed with Frozen right now. Bean has already started asking to have a Frozen themed birthday party and wants to dress up as Elsa next Halloween. I love the rock candy hanging from the tree branches in this Frozen themed birthday party.

Crab-Ocean-Themed-Birthday-Cake1Crab First Birthday Party from us- Sew Creative! For Turtle’s first birthday we were on vacation at a beach house with family friends. Since Turtle’s horoscope sign is Cancer and since we were going to be celebrating at a beach house I decided to have a crab themed birthday. Being out of town gave a good excuse not to go over the top, but I made candy crabs for the birthday cake and crab appliqued shirts for the birthday boy and his closest buddies.

Heart and Rainbows Birthday PartyHeart and Rainbow Birthday Party from Pop Sugar. There are so many adorable elements to this Heart and Rainbow birthday party that it’s hard to pick the element that sticks out to me the most… however I love the gumball party favors. It’s a simple favor that anyone (crafty or not) could accomplish but it has a big impact.

Construction Themed Birthday PartyConstruction Themed Party from Catch My Party. I predict that I will be planning a construction themed birthday in my future. One of the things that I love about this construction party from Catch My Party is that you could use toys that your kiddo already has as party decorations. How cute is that dump truck dumping a plate full of chocolate malt balls?

Alice in Wonderland Birthday PartyAlice in Wonderland Birthday Party from Celebrations at Home. You MUST click through and look at this birthday party. It is INCREDIBLE– one of those birthday parties that I would never be able to pull of myself but that has tons of great inspiration. My favorite element from this party has to be their use of color. Bright, bold and fun– every little girl would be thrilled to attend this party.

Very Hungry Caterpillar party

Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday from Pottery Barn Kids. My day job is as a Children’s Book Publicist so I love the idea of having a book theme for birthday parties. Pottery Barn Kids has tons of great ideas on their site for bringing a Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday party to life. My favorite element though is the Very Hungry Caterpillar lantern mobile that hangs above the table.

  2. Anchoring balloons into the grass using golf tees is a nice idea. Last year in my sons 2nd birthday party we had a lot struggle to anchoring balloons with the ground. I hope this year we can do it perfectly.

Thanks for sharing you nice ideas.
