How to make a DIY Car Magnet Set For Hours of Fun For Car Loving Boys and Girls

Today is the last day of school here in beautiful Vancouver, BC! I feel equally excited and terrified to have my kids off for summer break. I’m excited because I have such fond memories of summer when I was a kid and I’m excited to help my kiddos develop similar memories. I’m terrified because even though summer break is on, my work doesn’t turn off. I still have the same amount of hours of work to get done each week, with less hours of child free time to do it! So what does that mean? I have to find a bunch of really fun projects to keep my kids occupied during “work hours”.

That’s one of the reasons I was so excited to find Menucha from Moms & Crafters project for DIY Car Magnets. The vehicles, roads, street signs and traffic lights are just about as cute as can be and they can be used in a variety of ways! Our fridge is pretty covered with kids art projects, but I love the idea of slapping some magnetic paint onto a sheet of plywood and creating an “All Around The Town” Busy Board!

Head on over to Moms & Crafters for instructions on how to make these DIY car magnets that are perfect for a busy board!
