Easter Window Decoration Projects To Do With Kids

Happy Monday! Easter is less than two weeks away and today I am searching Pinterest for some Easter window decoration crafts that can be done with kids. I love getting Bean’s help decorating for the holidays. She takes so much pride in seeing her artwork hanging in our windows. Our neighbors have also commented how fun and festive it is to see our front window all decorated with things that Bella and I have made.

Contact Paper Window Clings

I love these contact paper window clings from Soccer Mom Style. The idea of using contact paper to create a stained glass effect is fabulous. I’ve never bought contact paper before. I might head out this afternoon and try to find a roll.

Contact Paper Easter Window Clings

Here is another contact paper Easter cling tutorial from Skip to My Lou. The possibilities with these things are endless. You could make so many different shapes and designs.

Contact paper Tissue Egg Window Decorations

Hmmmm. Why have I never crafted with contact paper before? This tissue paper collage Easter egg project from Share and Remember is mess free and would be fun for big and little kids alike.

Stepping away from the contact paper… these DIY tissue paper window decorations from Creative Juice are made from fabric starch and tissue paper, both of which I have in abundance.

easter egg balloons

Easter egg balloons! Why didn’t I think of that idea? This craft project from Reading Confetti isn’t specifically for the windows, but I think they would be cute hanging at different lengths from the top of the window frame!

Rainbow Window Clings

The window that we usually decorate in our house has 3 panes. One large center pane and then two smaller panes on the left and right. I love this instant rainbow windows project from Elizabeth Banks. All you need is cellophane, liquid soap and a sponge. I may try this on our two smaller windows.

I hope you enjoyed our Weekly Inspiration Easter Window Post! If you try any of these craft projects with your little ones I’d love to see pictures.

  1. Thank you so much for featuring my Easter window cling.
I buy Con-tact paper at my local HomeDepot. They have great finishes like stainless steal etc. But for window clings you need clear Contact paper. Good luck and thank you again for featuring my craft.
