It’s day 2 of my Countdown To Christmas and I am SO excited to share today’s gifts. There are just 23 days left until Christmas day my friends! Don’t worry if you don’t have all of your Christmas shopping done yet, I have some great suggestions coming your way. You can view all of my Countdown To Christmas posts here.
COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS DAY 2 GIFTS FOR FOODIES: DAVIDsTEA
I can’t tell you how many friends I have gotten hooked on DAVIDsTEA. I first discovered the company 4 years ago when they opened their Kits location.
I loved the story of a 20 something year old David, opening his first tea shop in Montreal, then opening one location after another across Canada (and now the US!). I was drawn to the bright colors (and especially the teal blue) that decorated the store and website. I appreciated the staff members who were so friendly (to the point that we became Facebook friends) and knowledgeable about tea.
What really made me fall hard for DAVIDsTEA though was that they presented tea in a fun, youthful way that I had never experienced before. Putting fun ingredients like caramel popcorn into Movie Night Tea, freeze dried ice cream bits into Birthday Cake Tea, dehydrated beetroot into Forever Nuts and candy pumpkins into Pumpkin Chai made me a DAVIDsTEA fan for life… and yes… I do own all of those teas.
Just about anything in their shop would make a great Christmas gift, but here are a few of my favorites.
Gift Idea #1: Color Changing Perfect Tea Mug because every tea drinker needs the perfect mug to steep in and sip from.
Gift Idea #2- The Holiday Collection this gift includes Santa’s Secret, Sleigh Ride and Gingerbread (my new favorite). It’s sure to get the recipient in the holiday spirit.
Gift Idea #3: Tea of the Month Collection Each month DAVIDsTEA has a featured tea. More often than not once that tea is gone, it’s gone. It’s limited edition so if you like it you should really stock up. Here is your chance to give the gift of 12 months of great tea!
Gift Idea #4: Ice Blue Timolino Travel Mug Confession… I’ve owned a black, 12 oz Timolino Travel mug for years, but when I saw the 16 oz Timolino in Ice Blue I had to buy it. Doesn’t the color match my blog beautifully? The Timolino is the best travel mug ever. It keeps your tea hot for hours (I sometimes put tea in it before bed and it’s still hot in the morning) and you can throw it in your bag and it doesn’t leak. If you are buying a gift for a tea lover buy this travel mug. It’s the best.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 3 of my Great Gifts Countdown To Christmas.
If you like this post I’d love for you to check out my DAVIDsTEA Tea Pop Recipe.
Tell me… Who is the hardest person on your list to buy for? What kind of gifts are on your Christmas Shopping List?
*A big thank you to DAVIDsTEA for sending me a Perfect Mug and The Holiday Collection. All thoughts and opinions on this blog are 100% my own. I approached DAVIDsTEA to take part in my Holiday Gift Guide because I love their products.

Ooooohhh! I’ve become a bit more of a tea drinker lately, and this post speaks to me. I think I’m going to go put on a pot and think about what new flavours I might pick up next time I’m at Uptown.
