Have I told you all that I’ve started writing for Yoyomama?!?!? I find it so exciting to see my articles in additional places to Sew Creative. Yoyomama approached me recently and asked if I’d be interested in creating an article and recipe for them about soup. I immediately thought of my Curried Coconut Pumpkin Soup recipe. It really is the ultimate fall soup recipe.
We have a monthly dinner get together with Muma, Daddo, Sisser, Jimmy Jimster, The Hubs, Bean, Turtle and I. Last fall my dad made curried pumpkin soup and I was instantly hooked. I had never tried it before. It was so good. Creamy, flavorful, warming, with a feeling of fall. I went home, dreaming about Daddo’s soup and the following weekend whipped up a batch of my own.
This would be a great meal for after a trip to the pumpkin patch. Is going to the pumpkin patch as popular in other places of the world as it is here? As a kid we always got our pumpkin at the grocery store.
Here is your menu planning card for the pumpkin soup. View all of Sew Creative’s Meal Planning Cards here. For my full Curried Coconut Pumpkin Soup recipe head on over to Yoyomama.
Tell me… What are your favorite fall foods? Do you make an annual trip to the pumpkin patch? Where do you get your pumpkin from?
