Hi Crafty Friends!

It has now been at least 11 weeks since the last time that I stepped foot in a store. That feels CRAZY to me! We’ve been doing all of our grocery shopping online and picking it up at the store where they load it directly into our trunk. We had a busy week of basketball tournaments the week before quarantine started so I actually can’t remember the last time I was in a store and what store it was!

One of the things that I miss the most while sheltering at home, is going to the dollar store. I LOVE wandering up and down the aisles of my local dollar store and looking for blanks to use for Cricuting on.

I’m always on the lookout for cute water bottles and cups and when I see something I like, I snag it… even if I don’t have a project in mind for it.

I found a pretty blue water bottle at the dollar store back in the fall and it had my name written all over it. I had it sitting on a shelf for months and every time I saw it I knew I wanted to cut something with my Cricut to put on it.

When my Cricut Joy arrived it seemed like the perfect time to make a project using the water bottle! Cricut has a bunch of “Ready to Make” projects for the Cricut Joy and this water bottle idea was one of them. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to make it.

I love how it turned out so much, and my kids do too! I can’t wait to get back to the dollar store to pick up a few more so my kids can stop fighting over this one!

The corgis are just so cute and the project is so easy to make that your kids could help make it too! You can make this project using your Cricut Joy, Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker.

Materials:

Note: I played around with the cut file that Cricut shared. I thought that the corgis were cutest if they were facing in different directions so that they could be facing each other. I also added extra hearts. The link above is to my cut file. Cricut’s original cut file can be found here.
