Easy DIY Mason Jar Chandelier Project- HCF Craft of the Week

Happy Thursday everyone! Yesterday was Canada Day here in the Great (not so white) North, and the family and I had the most lovely day! It started with a Canada Day parade, ended with fireworks on the boardwalk and the other hours were filled with BBQ, relaxation and family bonding. 

One of my favorite moments was snuggling (or nuggling as Turtle calls it) with The Hubs and the kids in our hammock under the deck. The Hubs has a dream of turning the area under our deck into an oasis where we can escape from the heat, enjoy the day and not be surrounded by spiders and other creepy crawlies. While there is still a ways to go, it really is a lovely place to spend some family time on hot afternoons. 

I’m always on the lookout for simple, inexpensive and beautiful ways to DIY our backyard, that’s why I was so excited to see Dinah from DIY Inspired’s Easy DIY Mason Jar Chandelier Project. 

It’s simple, beautiful and probably uses materials that you already have laying around the house! I think that this chandelier creates such a statement look and would be a great conversation starter at your next backyard gathering.

I’m still in a wedding frame of mind and keep thinking how pretty these would be for an outdoor wedding! I can also  imagine one made using a long thin piece of driftwood for a beach house look.
