I don’t think that it will come as a surprise to most of you that I adore creative people. Seeing other people’s artwork, crafts and woodworking projects, reading other writer’s creative writing and tasting other cook’s recipes inspires me. I love to be surrounded by creativity.
A couple of months ago I shared with you my sister’s Save The Date’s and Wedding Invitations from Minted. I loved the fact that you could browse through the work of hundred’s of graphic designers in one place and walk away with custom invitations featuring their designs.
I recently had the chance to explore Minted a bit deeper and discovered a whole section of the website that I had missed before– The Minted Art Marketplace! With the Minted Art Marketplace you get to browse through the work of hundred’s of artists, “favorite” the artwork you love, and get to know the artist who made your favorite pieces. Some of the art you can even customize with your favorite colors!
Take for example this Watercolor Inkblot by Kristen Smith…
I can choose what color palette I want it in– Cobalt…
Raspberry…
Or Grape!
Then I can click on Kristen Smith’s name and get to know more about her and see more of her work!
How cool to learn that in addition to being an amazing artist, Kristen also knits, sews and makes jewelry. It also lets me favorite Kristen’s store so that I can check back often to see if she has any new artwork available AND it let’s me see everything she’s designed for Minted.
Sometimes that will help you find things you never even knew you were looking for! For example, how cute would these Be My Smitten Kitten Custom Stickers be for Valentine’s Day? I found them under Kristen’s profile!
You can also “favorite” the pieces you love so that you can come back and see them at a later date. I spent a ton of time looking through the art market place creating a favorites list and then I went back through them to create “collections” for some of the rooms in my house.
For my sewing studio/office, I picked this flower art from Kiana Mosley (left and right prints) and Betty Hatchett (center prints).
For the playroom I’m thinking about these Bird’s Of A Feather prints from Kristen Smith.
For our entry hallway I love this artwork from Kayla King.
And for my animal obsessed girl’s bedroom, I’d pick these animal prints from Jennifer Morehead.
Now it’s your turn! What would you pick? Visit the Minted Art Marketplace, come back and comment with your favorite piece (or pieces) and you could win a $50 gift certificate from Minted!
Disclosure: Thank you to Minted for working with Hello Creative Family on this great giveaway. As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% our own!
