I’m so sorry I didn’t respond sooner. I saw this comment last week when you posted it. I read it, started crying and just didn’t have the words at the moment to respond. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave these kind words. I’m so sorry for your loss. Please give your granddaughter a big hug for me. I hope that my design helps bring her some healing and makes her feel like her Gigi is always near. Sometimes I create a design and have no idea if anyone is ever going to use it. I put it out there in the world and hope that it will touch someone. So thank you for letting me know that the design made an impact on you.

My son-in-law lost his grandmother last Sat and my 11 yr old granddaughter was especially close even tho they lived many miles apart. They would Facetime every day . “Gigi” told my son-in-law that when they saw a butterfly, everyone would know it was her, so we planned a butterfly release so my ganddaughter could say goodbye. I loved “Many cultures see the butterfly as a representation of life and death and feel that when they see a butterfly that it is a sign that a departed loved one is near.” Thank you for sharing what was a beautiful message as well as the awesome cut files. I see a t-shirt & maybe more things in the very near future for my sweet ganddaughter.
