I love cheese. I think it may very well be my very favorite food in the whole wide world. I have been known to tell people that I’d rather be chubby for the rest of my life than to never eat cheese again. A world without cheese would be a sad, sad world for this lady.
I have never attempted to make my own cheese before, but I would love to. That’s why today’s recipe from Lavende and Lemondade immediately caught my eye– Homemade Ricotta??? Yum! Before I got too excited I quickly scanned through the ingredient list. I’ve seen cheese recipes before that call for a ton of speciality ingredients– not this one! Whole milk, lemon juice and kosher salt? Check, check and triple check! I can’t wait to pick up some whole milk and give this recipe a try!
