My new career path means that I am around the house a lot more often. We changed our daycare schedule from full-time to part-time which means I have lots more time to do hands on projects with the kids.
The Hubs had to work over the weekend, so the kids and i had a rare treat. We got up on Sunday morning, had popcorn and grapes for breakfast and watched a movie! When the movie was over I said “Ok! Let’s go play outside.” When I turned and looked out the window it was a rainy, soggy mess (oh well, my garden needed the water) so we decided to have some inside fun instead.
I recently saw that Roya at Betsy Ideas had posted a recipe for No Cook Play Dough. It seemed like the perfect afternoon craft project to keep the kids entertained. I had all the ingredients in my cupboard and the dough was quick and easy to make. Because I put some wax paper down on the table cleanup literally took seconds and the play dough went into a ziplock bag in the fridge for the next rainy day!
