I’m so excited today to be posting about our very first giveaway! Raincoast Books sent us these beautiful Julia Rothman Notebooks and Pencil Pouch to give to one of our lucky readers!
I love that Julia Rothman is inspired by retro items. Chronicle Books who created these notebooks and pencil pouch did a great job with detail (everything they create features cutting edge design).
Inside the notebooks you won’t find plain old lined paper, they all have hand drawings which relate to the covers of the notebook (which makes me feel extra creative while I’m writing in them). Here are some interior shots of the video game notebook and the stapler notebook.
Julia Rothman has also designed a few lines of fabric for Windham Fabrics. I think her Type line of fabric goes beautifully with her Retro notebooks.

I am a total fabric collector (i.e. hoarder) and I love her Type line. Gotta admit that I am also an obsessive note maker. I need the notes to remember things, even if I lose the notes everywhere. Maybe a pretty/inspiring notebook would help me not lose them? Loving your blog, Crystal!

I LOVE her fabrics. I have a few in my stash waiting to become an apron for my fabulous pastry chef friend! These sets are sooooo cute and school age friendly. Perfect for my kids, BUT totally stylish enough to need one for myself too!
