I live in a house full of bookworms. My husband and I met working at a bookstore, I often catch my 6 year old daughter reading in her bed at night by flashlight, and my 2 year old falls asleep at night with a book cuddled in his arms. I recently bought Bean a bookmark at her school book fair and it’s become one of her most treasured belongings. She keeps asking for more of them and I’m so excited to help her make some with today’s HCF Featured Craft of the Day!
Jennifer from Just JP made adorable kitty bookmarks two ways– 1 as your traditional bookmark with a tassel and 2 as a corner bookmark that you slip over the corner of your page. Jennifer made hers with a kitty stamp, but you could use any stamp that you have in your collection. I adore the shading work that Jennifer did with colored pencils! Aren’t these just too cute for words. In the post, Jennifer has a video that walks you through, step by step, how to make these great bookmarks.
We’re going to have these on permanent rotation as a birthday gift add on. So cute! To learn how to make corner bookmarks and tassle bookmarks visit the How To Make Bookmarks Two Ways tutorial at Just JP.
