Panko Buttermilk Chicken Strip Recipe- Menu Card 9

Panko Crusted Chicken Strip Menu Meal Planning Card

Be prepared. Today I have a recipe for the most delicious chicken strips you will ever taste… it’s my Panko Crusted Buttermilk Chicken Strip Recipe.

Chicken strips are the last thing that I would ever order at a restaurant. In my mind chicken strips are dry, tasteless and boring. Kids order chicken strips off of a menu, not adults. Then my view of chicken strips was changed completely.

A couple of weeks ago my friend Dani Girl took me for a birthday lunch at Two Chefs and A Table here in Vancouver (Richmond to be exact). Dani Girl and our sweet little intern Little Miss were raving about the Buttermilk Chicken Strips at Two Chefs. I was skeptical, but decided to try the Southwest Chicken Salad that was on the menu. A delicious salad with honey lime dressing and buttermilk chicken strips on top.

This was a salad that dreams are made of. It was delicious. Not only was the dressing so good that I wanted to lick it off the plate afterwards but the chicken strips were the best I had ever had. Moist, flavorful and oh so good.

That weekend I started craving chicken strips (for the first time in my life) and decided to recreate the recipe on my own. I think I did a phenomenal job. The chicken strips that The Hubs and  I made were  just as crunchy, moist and delicious as the ones from Two Chefs and a Table. If you aren’t in Richmond, BC and can’t get to Two Chefs give my panko buttermilk chicken strip recipe a try.

I shared this recipe last week over on Treehouse TV, but wanted to share it here too as part of my meal planning series.

Here is menu card #9 with all of the ingredients that you need. Head on over to my Panko Buttermilk Chicken Strip Recipe on Treehouse TV for the full recipe.

Crystal, I saw these on your Treehouse Blog Post and made them on the weekend. They were a big hit with the entire family! I “marinated” the chicken in the buttermilk for about 20 hours and they came out soooo tender. Thanks for the recipe. My three year old is a “picky” eater and even she couldn’t resist. Next up will be your Honey Garlic Meatballs!

I might just be weird. My friends all like chicken strips… I always order a burger instead. ;)

If I knew that chicken strips this good were being served at a restaurant I would order them over a burger. :)
