Christmas is just around the corner and I’m counting down the days with my favorite gifts for the creative people in your life. 

Day 12- Signature Style from Foxy Jeans and Melow Par Melissa Bolduc

I LOVE signature pieces of clothing. That one piece of clothing that you can mix and match into your wardrobe that always gets compliments wherever you go. Special pieces that you won’t find in the big mall stores. Pieces that you have to hunt down at little neighborhood boutiques. I have a bit of a jacket/cardigan obsession because I love dressing up a pair of jeans and a black tank with a unique jacket. 

Once I became a mom my wardrobe fell the the wayside. My husband teases me that all I wear is yoga pants and tank tops. That’s pretty much the truth when I’m hanging out at home, but I love to dress us when I go out. I still want to look like a mom, but a stylish, creative mom… sometimes with a bit of a rockstar edge. 

I recently discovered two designers that have helped me accomplish just that look. I’m sharing them with you, because if you have a creative mama on your gift list a piece from one of these designers would make a great present!

Melow Par Melissa Bolduc

Melow Par Melissa Bolduc is designed by Quebec designer Melissa Bolduc. The line features beautiful clothing with asymmetrical construction and and structured cuts that will help you bring out your signature style. Here are a few of my favorite Melow Par Melissa Bolduc pieces. 

Nestor Jacket and Nina Skirt. I have this jacket in Cassis/Black Currant. I love the asymmetrical lines and the color is so rich and vibrant! Perfect for fall/winter. 

Nana coat and Napoleon trousers. This jacket is PERFECTION! I love the cowl style neckline and the shape of the hem along the bottom!

Nadia Dress. I think this dress is so pretty for the holiday season. The color is divine and it has a unique shape along the neckline. 

Nadege sweater and Nadine Skirt. This outfit makes me wish for falling snow and curling up in front of a fireplace with a cup of hot tea and a good book. 

Foxy Jeans

Foxy Jeans is also a Quebec clothing company. With a team of young designers, their creativity shows in the clothing season after season. Foxy Jeans is the perfect line of clothing for a mama who wants to feel a bit rock star every once in awhile! Here are a few of my favorite Foxy Jeans pieces. 

Joy- 5 Pocket Skinny with Coated Panels and Zipper Pockets. I dare you to wear these pants and not feel like a little bit of a rockstar! The coated panel gives a slimming look to these pants and the construction is very sturdy. These are my new favorite pants! 

Sequin Front Tank With Metallic Back. Another one of my favorite pieces, this tank is gorgeous worn with just a pair of pants, or layered under a cardigan or jacket. I also love wearing it under a shorter shirt so that a hint of sparkle shows along your hipline!

Jersey Top with Gathers and Mesh Inserts. This top reminds me of something that Angelina Jolie would wear. Pair it up with some statement jewelry for an event or wear it with a pair of jeans for a pulled together look when out with the kids. 

Joy- 5 Pocket Skinny Jean. No rockstar mama’s wardrobe is complete without a really great pair of jeans. I think these jeans are so cute. I love the fit of the Joy- 5 Pocket Skinny with Coated Panels and Zipper Pockets, so I have no doubt these would fit just as nicely. These jeans are on my wish list. Please Santa? I’ve been a very good girl. 😉

So there you have it! My suggestions for signature pieces for a creative mama’s wardrobe. I wore my Foxy Jeans outfit for date night recently and felt confident and sexy.
