Hi Crafty Friends! It’s the third Thursday of the month and you know what that means! It’s time for a brand new SVG collection! Yay! This month our theme is summer, and I am here for it! As I write this I’m listening to a beach vibes playlist on my headphones and I’m totally in the summer mood. Summer could not come quicker for me. I’m ready for the school year to be over, the days to be long and sunny, and to take a bit of downtime. It’s been a crazy busy year for us between homeschooling, writing a new book, and having my husband adjust to a new “work from home” life.
Our collection this month is so great, and perfect for all of your summer Cricut crafting. Make sure you read all the way to the bottom of the post to check out all of the amazing summer designs from my talented cohosts!
Summer Cut Files
One of my favorite summer memories is tubing down the Nooksack River with my family and some family friends. I think that I was probably around 5 or 6 years old. I remember playing in the sand by the river, having a watermelon seed spitting contest and I remember seeing my mom’s friend’s tummy big and round and all the adults joking that she had swallowed a watermelon seed!
Of course, she was actually pregnant, but my 5 year old mind really believed that she must have a watermelon growing inside her belly. I knew what it was to be pregnant (my baby sister had been born a few years earlier), but if the adults said she had swallowed a watermelon seed, well it must be true!
I decided to use that summer memory to create today’s design.
It’s perfect for putting on a maternity tank top or tshirt to wear all summer long over those cute little baby bumps!
