Happy Monday everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. The end of last week and the beginning of this weekend was busy, busy in the Sew Creative household. On Thursday, Bean and I went to a Kids Cooking Camp hosted by the BC Blueberry Council. We learned how to make a bunch of kid friendly recipes using beautiful, BC Blueberries.

On Friday, Tara from Suburble and I hosted our 2nd West Coast Creative Co event. We hung out with 17 incredible Vancouver area lifestyle bloggers, at 4 Cats Kerrisdale and made Van Gogh inspired paintings together! We were introduced to some fabulous companies including Mandala Sky, Haywire Wine, Milestones, Plaid Crafts, Royal Design Studio, Pick Your Plum, Counting Sheep Coffee and Presidents Choice.

On Saturday morning I headed to the Vancouver Aquarium to get a media tour of the new aquarium expansion. They also treated us to a sampling of Ocean Wise canapes which were out of this world! Pan Seared Scallops in a bacon emulsion anyone? Yum!

The rest of the weekend was spent prepping for the BlogHer conference in San Jose! I leave tomorrow and am so excited to go. To keep track of my trip to California and get glimpses into all of the other fun stuff I’m up to follow Sew Creative on Instagram.
