DIY Bat Puppet Kids Craft

Instructions

  • Select black, white and then different colors of construction paper for your bat. The black and white will be used for the eyes and teeth, and the other two colors will be used for the wings, head and body. Trace the template shapes on your selected colors of costruction paper and cut them out.
  • Stick the oval (head) shaped piece of paper at the top of the big square (body) piece of paper and glue in place.
  • Stick the two small triangles (ears) on each side of the top of the oval shaped piece of paper. Glue in place. Stick the two small rectangle (legs) pieces of paper on both sides of the bottom end of the square paper and glue in place.
  • Stick the two half-circle (wings) pieces of paper on both sides of the square paper and glue in place.
  • Stick the eyes on the oval shaped paper. Use a black sharpie to draw the mouth on the bat.
  • Stick the two small triangles (teeth) adjacent to the traced mouth. Glue the paper bat to the popsicle stick to complete your puppet.
  • Allow glue to dry and then have fun creating a fun bat fact puppet show!
