- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar plus extra for sprinkling on top
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons cold butter cut into small pieces
- 5 tablespoons milk
- 4 tablespoons mix-ins dried cranberries, blueberries, diced apples, chocolate chips, etc.
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a food processor (or bowl), combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and butter. Pulse or cut in butter until crumbly.
Add milk and mix until dough just comes together.
Gently fold in your mix-ins.
Divide dough into 2 equal portions and shape into triangles about 3/4" thick.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle tops with sugar (optional).
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden around the edges.
