Hi Crafty Friends!
Do you know a little boy who doesn’t like Hot Wheels and Matchbox Cars? I don’t. Let’s be honest, cars are a pretty universal thing for little boys. Little girls too! My daughter loves getting down on the floor with her brother and pushing a Hot Wheel or two around the track. And let’s not even get me started on my husband. The way he examines those little cars, taking in all the intricacies makes me laugh out loud.
Me? I’m not as into Hot Wheels as the rest of my family, I like the fact that they keep my kiddos entertained, but that’s about as far as my Hot Wheels infatuation goes. I DO however love a good DIY project, and if it’s a project that will keep me from stepping on those tiny cars or keep my kids entertained for longer than usual… I’m so game.
Today I thought I’d share with you 27 of my favorite Hot Wheels project that I collected from Pinterest (not following us? You should! Find Hello Creative Family on Pinterest here!) In my house, pretty much all little cars are referred to as “Hot Wheels”, these projects can use any toy cars from Hot Wheels to Matchbox to Disney Pixar Cars!

If I ever build my ultimate car, it would be a 1963 Corvette Grand Sport by Mongoose Motor Sports – all black. I love the classic design, split window and muscular body.
This is really an awesome list of toy car project. Mainly like your “DIY Hot Wheels Photo Frame from Hot Wheels” idea. I can’t think ever that these creative designs are possible with toy cars. Definitely, I will try to my house.

wow,great idea on diy toys,the outdoor race track is my farvourite very cool.

These are such awesome ideas! My grandson is a huge hot wheels fan. I would love to make some of these for him. He would be so excited to have one of those lamps in his room!
