Spread kindness around the world! Let’s create an army of kindness spreading kids and adults with this easy to make DIY Kindness Warrior Shirt. Includes step by step instructions on how to make this project using a Cricut, along with a free SVG cut file compatible with Cricut or Silhouette.
The world needs more kindness. This morning when I was watching Instagram stories, I watched model and instagram sensation Brock O’Hurn talk about kindness. He said that there are a lot of people out there see kindness as a weakness but that it’s actually a strength. He shared that you never know what someone is going through and that the gift of kindness is the greatest gift you can give.
The timing of seeing those Instagram stories felt perfectly timed because I had completed this DIY Kindness Warrior Shirt Project the day before after having had it in my head for quite some time.
For months I had been wanting to make a sweatshirt that said “Choose Kindness” but I was looking for the perfect hoodie to put the words on. Then while out shopping I found the camouflage hoodie that I used for this project and bought it. Suddenly “Choose Kindness” (which BTW is an amazing shirt idea that I’ll make one day soon) suddenly didn’t feel quite powerful enough to go with the camo. I let the project idea percolate in my head for a few days while I worked on other things and then one day it hit me “Kindness Warrior”.
Can you imagine if there was an army of people across the world with the pure purpose of spreading kindness? Can you imagine how the world would change for the better? I say that we should start that army ourselves and make our mission spreading kindness each and ever day!
I’m really excited to share this project with you today. .

Click “Upload Image”.
Select the Kindness Warrior SVG file that you have downloaded to your computer and click “Save”.
Select your new image and then click “Insert Images”.
Step 2: Click on the image and click “Attach” in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Measure your shirt and see what size you want your design to be. Size the design and then click “Make It” in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Click the “mirror” slide bar on the right hand side of the screen then click “Continue” in the bottom right hand side of the screen.
Select your machine and cutting material.
Load your cutting mat with your Iron-On shiny side down. Press the cute Cricut C and have your machine cut your iron-on.
Step 3: Weed away the extra iron on, leaving just the words behind on the clear plastic. Don’t forget the middle of the letters!
Step 4: Lay out your shirt. Check the recommended settings for the iron-on and the shirt type you used. Preheat your shirt with your EasyPress or iron, lay out your design and press according to the instructions for your iron-on material.
Peel away the clear plastic cover and viola! You have a gorgeous DIY Kindness Warrior Shirt! Now get out there and spread the kindness!

I love, love, LOVE this! Spreading kindness and somehow using my blog platform to help create that army of “kindness warriors” is something that has been on my mind and in my heart a LOT lately, so the timing of this was perfect! I am definitely making one of these! 🙂

Kindness starts at home. It’s about living with integrity, knowing what your principles and important “ethical characteristics” are, and what right and wrong means in your life.It also means treating yourself as you would anyone else you care about. We usually talk about and hear about kindness in relation other people, but kindness towards yourself is just as important.
