We have a tradition in our family. Each Saturday night we make our own pizza and sit down in front of Netflix to watch a movie and eat dinner. It is a special tradition in our family; a lazy meal for mom and dad and wonderful memories for our kids.
Netflix features many family-friendly movies and to avoid arguments over what to watch, we rotate who gets to choose each week. This is wonderful for encouraging turn-taking and personal choice amongst kids.
While pizza may be on the menu at our house, there are other delicious alternatives. Find your own favourite meal, or rotate through a few choices. Here are some movie and food pairings we found around the web.
