There are many moments in our day to day lives where a deep breath can completely change how the day feels. “Just Breathe” has become one of my favorite reminders. Whether I am navigating school drop-offs, running errands, sipping my morning chai, or trying to slow down and enjoy the beauty around me, this gentle phrase helps me pause and reset.
This month’s SVG Blog Hop theme is car decals, and my SVG designing friends created an incredible variety of designs. There are twelve files to explore that range from practical to funny to heartwarming. You are going to love them. I encourage you to read all the way to the end of the post so you do not miss a single one.
Free “Just Breathe” Car Decal SVG File

When I sat down to think about what I wanted my contribution to this collection to be, I knew I wanted to choose something peaceful and encouraging. Life moves quickly, especially when we are driving or running errands. A gentle reminder to take a breath can shift an entire moment. This phrase is paired with a soft dandelion illustration to give it a calm and airy feeling that looks beautiful on a car window.

I originally designed this file for our How To Embellish HTV with Rhinestones Cricut Craft Club class. I made a “Just Breathe” shirt for the class, and I wear it often. Seeing the same design on a car decal feels just as grounding and comforting.

Supplies You Need to Make Car Decals

Before you start cutting your new decal, you will want to gather a few essential supplies. These tools and materials help you create clean cuts, smooth transfers, and long lasting results that hold up outdoors. Here is what I recommend:
Cricut Cutting Machine
Any Cricut machine that works with standard vinyl will do. A Cricut Explore, Maker, or Joy Xtra produces crisp, clean cuts that are perfect for car decals.
Cricut Cutting Mat
Use a StandardGrip cutting mat to keep your vinyl secure during the cutting process. A clean and sticky mat ensures smooth and accurate cuts.
Cricut Fine Point Blade
This blade is ideal for cutting permanent vinyl. Make sure yours is sharp to get the best results with detailed designs.
Weeding Tools and Scissors
A good weeding tool helps you remove any small pieces of vinyl from inside letters or shapes. Scissors are handy for trimming your vinyl before transferring it.
Permanent Vinyl
Permanent vinyl is the best choice for car decals because it is durable and weather resistant. It stands up well to sun, rain, and everyday outdoor use.
Transfer Tape
Transfer tape helps you lift your finished vinyl decal from the backing and place it on your car window in one smooth piece. Choose a tape that has the right amount of tack for your brand of vinyl.
