Hi crafty friends! It’s the third Thursday of the month and you know what that means! It’s time for a brand new SVG cut files collection! This month’s my friends and I created a collection of cut files that are perfect for celebrating your favorite fabulous friends. You know the ones I’m talking about, the friends who are the family you choose! This month our theme is Friendsgiving! I think you are going to love this SVG bundle!
I have been blessed with the best extended family ever, and I’m also so lucky to have a select group of friends who have also become my family.
Friendsgiving is such a nice option for people who have family who live far away, or who want a special occasion to celebrate and have a nice turkey dinner with friends
What Is Friendsgiving?
Friendsgiving is a mashup of friends and Thanksgiving. The word first appeared in the Merriam Webster dictionary in 2020 and the official definition is: “A Thanksgiving celebration with one’s friends, as opposed to one’s family.”
Friendsgiving can be celebrated anytime during the year but the month around Thanksgiving (or Thanksgiving itself) seems to be the most popular time to host it.
A common joke is that Friendsgiving is like Thanksgiving but without all of the stress and family drama. Often people will celebrate Friendsgiving in a potluck style with everyone bringing a contribution to the meal which takes a lot of pressure off of the host.
What do you think? Have you ever celebrated Friendsgiving?
Friendsgiving Where Friends Become Family SVG

Create a pretty Friendsgiving sign to go with your Friendsgiving decor.
You could even make Friendsgiving dish towels to hang on your stove and use for all your Friendsgiving cleanup! The possibilities really are endless– mugs, stickers, place cards, a vinyl decal, a picture frame party favor with a photograph from your friendsgiving meal and more!
