Hi crafty friends!
It’s the first Tuesday in May and you know what that means!!! It’s #TotallyFreeSVG Tuesday! Yay!!! This month we have a super fun theme unlike any that we have ever done before! We have created free doormat SVG files!
Have you ever made a custom door mat before? This has been on my crafting bucket list for SO SO LONG!
My friend Charynn over at Pineapple Paper Co. has a great tutorial for how to make stencilled doormats using freezer paper! You can find it here!
I must have gone back and forth about 100 times when trying to decide what I wanted for my doormat design. Finally I decided to keep it simple with– Hello!
I’ve gotta admit. I pretty much adore it. The big, thick, looping letters make this easy to stencil, with none of the fussy tiny design elements.

what kind of vinyl did you use to make the mats? Nothing will stick to the bristle style mat! Thanks for the idea and files they are awesome!
Hi Alexis,
Thank you so much for your great question! I actually suggest cutting your stencil out of freezer paper, carefully transferring it to the mat and then using an EasyPress set at 300F to get it to stick to the mat while you stencil. My friend Charynn over at Pineapple Paper Co has a great tutorial that can be found here: https://pineapplepaperco.com/cricut-diy-doormat-happy-fall-yall-svg
Let me know if you have questions!
Best Wishes,
Crystal
