Summer Fun!
I absolutely love summer and I always have.
We have a TON of summer birthdays in our family– (in order) my son, me, my sister, my sister in law, my husband, my father in law and my daughter. We also have a ton of aunt, uncle and cousin birthdays thrown in there as well as my husband and my wedding anniversary.
I also REALLY love having my kids at home with me and love that summertime feeling of having a combination of structure and no structure.
I try to stick to my normal school year start time, but will often take some time in the afternoon to enjoy quality time with my kiddos.
Summer also always gets me feeling nostalgic for my childhood and our days at the lake/pool, reading books in the shade, and sipping glasses of lemonade.
The summer is definitely a time of fun and celebration in our home and I love welcoming it each year– Which brings me to today’s cut file!
