Add cream cheese, butter and confectioners’ sugar in a large bowl.
Use a stand mixer or hand electric mixer to beat the three ingredients together, starting on low speed and gradually increasing to high.
Add vanilla extract and whole milk to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until all ingredients are well-combined.
Crush the candy eggs and fold into the mixture, leaving some aside for topping.
Serve in a bowl alongside a batch of shortbread and vanilla cookies. Garnish with the remaining candy eggs.
Feel free to top with additional ingredients, if desired - mini marshmallows, sprinkles, etc. Enjoy!
In the unlikely instance that you have leftovers or if you are making it beforehand, store in an airtight container in the fridge or in a bowl covered with plastic wrap. Let it warm up a bit when it's time to serve.
