My family LOVES going camping. My husband and I both camped with our own families when we were kids and then rediscovered camping with our own children a few years ago.

Sometimes we camp with just the four of us, sometimes my parents join us, other-times we camp with one or two other families, and once a year we do a big giant camping trips with a bunch of different families (that’s usually our labor day camping trip– our last big “Huzzah” before school starts up again!)

For the last few years we have been doing one camping trip a year to the campground where I grew up camping in Washington State. We had our spot all booked for this year, but with the borders closed we had to cancel our camping trip.

My kids are so, so bummed (and I feel a bit heartbroken as well). Camping in BC is beautiful but with everyone staying close to home this summer, spots are hard to come by.

So for today, I’m living vicariously through all of you! For everyone who is lucky enough to get a camping spot this summer I am sharing with you today’s printable!

Last summer my mom did a scavenger hunt for the kids during one of our camping trips and they loved it so much. We have decided to make it a camping tradition.

This scavenger hunt has been sitting in my “to be published” folder for quite awhile. Every printable that I offer here on Hello Creative Family is published with my own kids in mind. I hope your kids get as much enjoyment out of it as mine will!
