Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Line cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Prepare cake mix as directed and bake as directed.
  3. While cupcakes are baking, place the candy melts into the squeeze bottle and microwave on high for 30 second increments, until melted, stirring after each heating set.
  4. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a tray, table or counter and start piping your hearts with the melted candy in the squeeze bottle. When the “heart” is complete, zigzag lines across the heart to fill it in a bit.
  5. When cupcakes are finished baking, remove from the oven when done and let cool on the baking rack.
  6. Once cupcakes are cooled, place 1M icing tip in pastry bag and fill with vanilla frosting.
  7. Frost each cupcake using the 1M icing tip. Start At one edge of the cupcake, work your way around, and end in the middle.
  8. Add sprinkles to cupcakes.
  9. Place a “heart” that you made with the candy melts in the middle of each cupcake.

With just a few simple ingredients you’ll have the easiest, but cutest cupcakes around! Your kids can even help and make the adorable candy heart toppers!
