Can you believe January is already over and Valentine’s Day is next week?! Do your kids have their Valentine’s Day cards all ready for school? Is it just me or as kids get older, it’s harder to find Valentine’s Day cards they like? If your kids are like mine, they are getting super picky about what cards to get: that one is too cutesy, this one isn’t cute enough, what are Care Bears?, those are for babies, these ones aren’t cool enough! Etc, etc, etc.
I previously shared these adorable DIY Avengers Valentine’s for inspiration and that you can print and cut with your Cricut or Silhouette. I think they’re super cute and super cool for any age especially younger kids.
However, for those older kids like pickier teens and tweens, my lovely friend Alexa played Cupid and made these delightful free printable Valentine’s Day cards for all of you! So skip the trip to the store and scroll down to get the free file emailed to you!

I think that these cards are just about the cutest thing ever! My kids still give me a Valentine’s every year and I just don’t know which one I’d want! The flamingo? The lightbulb? The cherries? The donut? I just can’t decide! Maybe I’ll just print a whole set for myself. Hee hee.
I love a good punny Valentine and these ones definitely hit the right note!

Supplies Needed to Make the Free Printable Valentine’s Day Cards
Making this set of Valentines is super easy, requires a few simple steps and needs no special tools. You don’t need a Cricut or cutting machine (but can definitely use one if you convert the file from a pdf to an SVG or PNG). Otherwise, you most likely already have everything you need to create these adorable cards:
- A printer
- White 8.5 x 11 cardstock
- Scissors, paper cutter, or Cricut
Instructions to Make the Free Printable Valentine’s Day Cards
Enter your name and email address above to get the free Valentine’s Day card templates file emailed to you then simply print the file on cardstock. Then cut the cards out. No fuss, no special tools. All that’s left is for your kids to choose which card goes to whom and then write their friend’s (or sweethearts) name down. And really, picking which card goes to whom is almost always the actual hardest part!
