DIY an Ice Cream Card using your Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore! An easy handmade card that’s perfect for birthdays and loved ones with a sweet tooth!
This summer, as our kitchen was being renovated, my Cricut went on the road with me so that I could craft on the go. We have a ton of summer birthdays in our family, so I found myself doing a lot of card making.
My little sister’s birthday is in July and she is obsessed with ice cream. You will never find her freezer without a couple of tubs of ice cream in it. She loves trying all the flavors, but also always has the classics like chocolate and french vanilla.
When it came time to make her a birthday card I pulled out my Cricut, searched through birthday card ideas and found this adorable ice cream card. It is so simple to make, doesn’t have a ton of layers and can be cut and assembled in less than 10 minutes.

DIY Ice Cream Card Made Using The Cricut
-Card stock for card
-Card stock for envelope
-Card stock for ice cream cone
-Card stock for ice cream
-Card stock for cherry
-Scrapbook paper for the lining of the envelope
-Your favorite color of Cricut pen (we used black)
Step 2: Fold along all of the scored lines for your envelope, envelope liner and card.
Step 3: Use glue dots to adhere the liner to the envelope, to adhere the ice cream scoop under the ice cream cutout inside the card, to adhere the cherry to the top of the ice cream and to hold the flaps to make your envelope.
Step 4: Apply a thin, light layer of spray adhesive to the back of your ice cream cone. Apply it to the front of the card pressing down firmly.
Voila! You have a fun and playful birthday card. On my sister’s card, since she likes ice cream so much I wrote in extra words so that it said “I like you more than YOU LIKE ice cream.”
