This past weekend my kids, The Hubs and I were at my sister’s farm to visit family and celebrate my nephew’s first birthday. During our visit we pitched in on the farm and helped to harvest all the pumpkins and squash from the field. The weather was gorgeous– not too hot, not too cold, the company was fabulous, and it was fun to spend some time with the earth beneath our feet picking the bounty that my sister and her husband had grown. It was also really fun to see Turtle and Bean do a bit of manual labor out in the field… but that’s another story. 😉
Our time on the farm picking pumpkins got me into the autumn spirit. I’ve got pumpkins on the brain friends!
