Brighten up your wine tumbler with a fun Halloween Themed DIY decal! We’re sharing a free 100% That Witch SVG and a Witch’s Brew SVG file along with instructions to make a fun Halloween themed glitter wine tumbler!
A few weeks ago I was browsing the aisles of my local Dollarama and I noticed the cutest sparkle wine tumblers. You know I’m a sucker for anything with glitter so those wine glasses immediately went into my shopping cart.
I love the combo of purple and black for Halloween so I decided to turn these cuties into Halloween tumblers.
For the past couple of months I’ve had a Lizzo Essentials Apple Playlist playing on repeat while I’m working, so as soon as I started brainstorming ideas for what to put on it I knew that I wanted to make a 100% That Witch SVG
Witch’s Brew seemed like a no brainer for the second tumbler, so I pulled out my ipad, opened up Procreate and got to work designing a couple of cut files for the cups!
They turned out SO CUTE. I love them, but with the sparkles and shine of the cups the weren’t the easiest to photograph so I decided to show you the design on white tumblers too… just so you can see how ADORABLE they are!
Cute right? The 100% That Witch SVG file would also look adorable on a t-shirt or tote bag and I can totally see the Witch’s Brew design on a coffee mug, wine glass or water bottle.
You can find the 100% That Witch SVG File and Witch’s Brew Cut files here. Please note that these cut files are for personal use only. To purchase a commercial license contact crystal@hellocreativefamily.com

DIY Witch Sparkle Tumblers
Materials:
–Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore
–Cricut Vinyl (I used this glitter vinyl)
–Transfer Tape (If using glitter vinyl make sure you use strong grip transfer tape)
-Glitter tumblers (I purchased mine at Dollarama but there are some really cute glitter tumblers here)
Directions:
Step 1: Download my witch cut files from here. Log into Cricut Design Space. Click on Upload Image and upload the SVG files. Click on the cut file(s) you want to use and click “Insert Images”.
Size your image to the size you want for your tumbler. Then click “Make It”.
Select the material you will be cutting with. Lay your vinyl onto the cutting mat with the colored side facing up, load the cutting mat into your Cricut and then push the cute little Cricut C.
Step 2: Use your weeding tools to weed your vinyl, carefully removing the excess vinyl from around your design leaving just your image left on the white backing. (Note: I originally planned on putting black glitter vinyl on the purple mug and purple glitter vinyl on the black mug. I ended up liking the purple better so redid the 100% That Witch in purple glitter.)
Step 3: Now it’s time to transfer your vinyl to your tumbler. Cut a piece of transfer tape that’s a tiny bit bigger than your design. Peel the tape off of the backing and lay it on top of your decal. Use a scraper to really push the transfer tape down onto the vinyl.
Lift the transfer tape away from the white paper backing making sure to pull up each piece of your design with the transfer tape.
Pro Crafter Tip: Putting vinyl onto a curved surface like a mug can be tricky to do without getting bubbles. I have two tips to make it easier.
- Keep your designs small. You’re going to have much more luck putting something like a font that has “white space” between the letters on a mug than a big piece of solid vinyl that will get wrinkles in it as it lays around the curve.
- Clip your transfer tape to give more room for your vinyl to move and lay down nicely. It might be hard to see in the photo above but I have snipped the transfer tape all away around my design. So for example there is a snip in the center of the W, between the t and the c, between the B and the r, etc.
Step 4: Carefully position and then lay the transfer tape onto your mug. Run your scraper over the transfer tape pushing the vinyl onto the tumbler. Carefully peel away the transfer tape leaving the design behind on your mug. If the vinyl starts to lift, use your scraper to push it down then peel the transfer tape away again.
Voila! You have an adorable witchy tumbler!!!
