Hi Crafty Friends!!! I’m so, so, so excited for today’s post!!! I’ve been doing a lot of thinking recently about the future or Hello Creative Family and what direction I would like to take the site in. Over the past year it’s become apparent that all of you have 5 primary areas of interest:

I’ve been participating in a Totally Free SVG group for almost two years now and have had so much fun collaborating with all of those amazing women. Each month we have a different theme and each of us designs an SVG file to go with that theme. Then we release one giant collection. Our readers get to visit each of our friends’ sites to collect each cut file and discover new bloggers.

I have loved that feeling of collaboration SO MUCH that I thought it would be SO FUN to create a similar group with free printables! I first reached out to my friend Brooke from Brooklyn Berry Designs and asked her what she thought of the idea, then we reached out to our Totally Free SVG crew… hoping that a few of them would like the idea enough that they would want to join us. Spoiler alert– They all loved the idea and all said they want to participate. Then we approached a few other designers who’s work we love and they all said they wanted to join us too!

Today I’m so excited to introduce you to our new Totally Free Printables group! On the second Thursday of each month we will be releasing a brand new printable collection based on a monthly theme. There are just over 20 of us in the group, so depending on what’s happening in everyone’s lives you can expect to see 15-20 printables in each collection!

For the first month our theme was camping and road trips. My kids always love the activity placemats at restaurants so I decided to create an activity placemat that you can print out and take with you for at the picnic table, in the car, or on a ferry on the way to your campground!
