Hi Crafty Friends!

The countdown is on! This year is quickly coming to an end. Who is ready to ring in the new year, celebrate and create a brand new year of memories? I’m waving my hand around frantically in the air right now because I certainly am!

I know that after Christmas is over, I’m always excited to ring in the new year with a bunch of glitter, sparkle and spectacle… Ok, who am I kidding most of my New Year’s celebrations are spent in my PJ’s, but I’m always surrounded by people I love and that’s what’s most important right?

I love taking the end of December and beginning of January to reflect on the previous year, and I think it’s a great habit to get our kids into as well. Today I’m bringing you a free Year In Review Printable with a section for goal planning for the upcoming year. Use it as is, or use it as inspiration to create something that’s 100% your own!

I think that this is a super fun printable for moms, dads and other loved ones to print out and do with their kids as part of the New Year’s Eve activities. I’ll be updating this printable each year, so that it can become a part of your family’s New Year’s Eve traditions.

Printable Year In Review New Year’s Eve Kids Activity

This printable New Year's Eve writing activity lets kids capture their favorite things from their current age, reflect on highlights of the previous year, and create goals and dreams of things that they want to happen in the upcoming year! Fun for all ages from preschoolers to adults!

Last year was the first year that I had these adorable printables on my site. I first shared the one with the rainbows and kitty, and then got a request from a reader to do a space themed one. So I did just that!

Not only is this printable a fun activity for on New Year’s Eve, it’s also a lovely keepsake to pull out and look back on for years to come. I always love having my kids fill out “About Me” pages and seeing how much they change from year, to year to year!

Our babies grow up so fast, and I know that the older my kids get, the more I love to look back and reminisce on “the good old days” when my babies were still babies!

My kids love traditions that are tied to holidays, and even though my oldest sometimes scoffs and says “Really mom? I’m not a baby anymore!” I know that she secretly loves revisiting the memories from when she was little by following the same traditions each year.
