Without a doubt, the cut files in this collection are perfect for making handmade baby shower gifts for a baby boy or baby girl.

For this collection I did two SVG files, one for here on Hello Creative Family and one for my second site– Cutting Machine Crafting!

For Hello Creative Family I created “Milk Monster”! I had so much fun drawing this adorable little monster with outstretched arms.

Onesie laying on a baby blanket with an adorable purple monster with green horns. The words Milk Monster are curved above.

This design is just so much fun and I’d love to see him in all kinds of different color combinations!

The design that I did for Cutting Machine Crafting is New To The Crew. This design is super simple and adorable! It would be perfect for family photos, especially for a little boy or girl.

I love both designs because they can be used for a perfect gift like diy onesie, little tee, or other projects! I hope that I get to see photos of how you all use them so that I can live vicariously, because my baby making days are over!

Follow these steps to grab your free SVG files and start crafting:

  • First, download the Milk Monster SVG file – Simply scroll down, enter your name and email address in the download box, and I’ll send the cut file straight to your inbox.
  • Next, download the other SVG files in this collection – Visit each designer’s site to grab their adorable cut files.
  • Then, upload to Cricut Design Space – Open the software and upload the SVG to get started.
  • After that, resize as needed – Adjust the design to fit your onesie (as a general rule, 3-5 inches wide is typically a good size for newborn to 6-month sizes).
  • Now that you’re ready, it’s time to cut! – Load your HTV or Infusible Ink and let your Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore, Cricut Joy or Cricut Venture do the work.
  • Weed – Carefully remove the excess vinyl from around your design using a weeding tool, leaving only the parts you want to transfer onto the onesie. Take your time, especially with small details!
  • Finally, press onto the onesie – Use a heat press or EasyPress for the best results.
  • Most importantly have fun!

🔎 Pro Tip: Always mirror your design when using heat transfer vinyl!

Best Materials for Making DIY Onesies with Cricut

To make high-quality baby onesies, you’ll want the right materials:

  • Onesies: Cricut, Carter’s, Gerber, or Rabbit Skins brand work well.
  • Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV): Cricut Smart Iron-On, Siser EasyWeed and Expressions Vinyl HTV are three of my favorite brands I’d recommend for best results.
  • Infusible Ink: Not only is it vibrant, but it’s also a permanent design solution that won’t peel or crack.
  • Heat Press/EasyPress: Press at 315°F for 30 seconds (HTV) or 385°F for 40 seconds (Infusible Ink). (Make sure to check manufacturers instructions for best results.)
  • Note: If using Infusible Ink you will need to use sublimation friendly onesies that have a 70% or higher polyester count for best results. However, for HTV you can use any blend of polyester and cotton.

    1. Hi! Thanks so much for your comment. There is a list with links to each designers SVG. Click the links for the SVGs that you would like to download, go to that designer’s blog post and there will be information on how to download. I hope that helps!

      Best Wishes,

  2. Hello first off I gotta say I’m enjoying all the different svg files we can get. But 1 important question I need to ask is I know we cannot sale the files or anything but if we make a craft like a mug or baby outfit with the svg file are we allowed to sell that item legally.
