Hi crafty friends! It’s the third Thursday of the month and you know what that means! It’s time for a brand new SVG cut files collection! This month’s my friends and I created 15 cut file freebies that you can use for making decor for your bathrooms!

Morning Affirmations

When I sat down to brainstorm what kind of cut file I was going to create for today’s collection of free files my first thought was to create something funny, but the more I thought about it I realized that it wasn’t what my heart was calling me to do.

We are blessed to have 3 bathrooms in our home, yet when it comes time to get ready for the day each morning or get ready for bed each night, our kids always end up in our master bathroom.

I’m quick to grumble about it being two crowded as we elbow each other out of the way to spit toothpaste in the sink.

As my kids start to bicker over the toothpaste or getting splashed when someone is washing their face I’m the first to exclaim “We have another bathroom right down the hall. You know the one right across the hall from your bedrooms?”

The truth is, I love spending these extra minutes each day with my kids. I love being able to reassure my kids about little things they are nervous about for the school day in the mornings. And I can’t wait to hear the last minute stories that somehow always got missed at the dinner table as we get ready for bed.

My kids and I have had a tradition since they were in preschool that I say morning affirmations for them each day before school, and they repeat them back to me– so it was that idea that I ended up going with for this collection instead of a funny bathroom saying.

I Am… Affirmations SVG File

Affirmations have become such a wonderful part of my children and my morning routine. When we first started, it was me taking a moment with them, slowing down the hustle and bustle of the morning and reminding them why they are such incredible human beings.

Now my kids are in the routine of doing them each morning and they come to me to remind me if I happen to forget. It warms my heart that morning affirmations have become a habit for them, and that this is a tradition that they will never forget.

We started this tradition when my kids were itty bitty, and they are now 9 and 13, so we’ve been doing them for many, many years.

This svg download is my gift from my family to yours, and I would love to hear how you use it!
