Hi Crafty Friends!
Easter is just around the corner and I’m here with another quick and easy project that you can make with your kids!
One of my favorite things about holidays is making traditions. My mom was the BEST holiday tradition maker and I strive to do the same with my kids.
Creating traditions doesn’t need to be big and complicated. You can make traditions out of small activities that your kids love that they’ll look forward to year after year after year.
If anything, creating holiday traditions almost makes holiday celebrations even easier for parents, because you can reach into your same bag of tricks each year and not have to look for new ideas!
Make sure you read to the bottom of this post because I’ll be sharing some of my very favorite crafts and recipes to make for the Easter holiday!
What is Easter Bunny Bait?
Chances are you’ve heard of Magic Reindeer Bait Food that you sprinkle for Santa’s reindeer on Christmas Eve, but have you heard of Easter Bunny Bait?
What is Easter Bunny Bait?
Easter Bunny Bait is an adorable, colorful mix of ingredients that children can put out on their front lawn the evening before Easter to help attract the Easter Bunny to their home!
Bunny Bait is made from three ingredients– Dried oats, edible glitter and bright pastel colors of Easter sprinkles!
Easter Bunny snack mix can be used as an Easter tradition as a before bed activity on “Easter Eve”. Give each of your children a bag of Easter Bunny Bait, head outside, sprinkle it around, then tuck little ones into bed with Easter bunny dreams floating through their heads.
Don’t forget to leave a carrot out on the dining room table for the Easter Bunny too!
If you don’t have a front lawn that’s no problem. You can sprinkle on the walkway, front doorstep, or anywhere you and your child decide is the perfect place to attract the Easter bunny.

Easter Bunny Bait Poem:
Sprinkle this bait on the lawn at night,
The moon will make it sparkle bright,
When the Easter Bunny hops around and roam,
This happy treat will lead him to your home.
