Easter always seems to sneak up, and this year is no exception. (Anyone else feel like it Easter always arrives early, even during years it arrives late?) As a kid, Easter ranked high on my list of favorite holidays—second only to Christmas.
The excitement of waking up to see what had been left behind by the Easter Bunny made the day magical. Jelly beans, Cadbury Creme Eggs, and other pastel-colored goodies were always hidden throughout the house. Without a doubt, the thrill of the hunt was the best part!
Each year, I worried that our cat might try to catch the Easter Bunny (yikes!). To prevent a holiday disaster, my parents were begged to keep the cat in the basement overnight.
Fortunately, our rescue dogs are much more bunny-friendly. Problem solved. 😉
Why Easter Crafts Make the Season Even More Special
Easter isn’t just about chocolate bunnies, Easter basket stuffers and Easter egg hunts! Some of our most meaningful family memories are made during the simple, quiet moments—like sitting around the table creating something together.
Crafting not only encourages creativity and connection, but it also gives us a chance to slow down and be present with the people we love.
Throughout the year, but especially during holidays like Easter, making crafts together can become a tradition your kids will always remember. These shared experiences build core memories that last a lifetime.
To help inspire some of those joyful moments, I’ve gathered a collection of my very favorite family-friendly spring and Easter craft projects from some of the most creative bloggers I know.
Whether you’re crafting with preschoolers, big kids, or even teens, you’ll find plenty of cute Easter crafts below (most of which use basic craft supplies) to spark your imagination—and make some magical memories along the way.
