Ninth Day of Christmas- Encouraging Creative Play with Hasbro

9th Day of Christmas- Toys to Encourage Creative Play from Hasbro

Christmas is just around the corner and I’m counting down the days with my favorite gifts for the creative people in your life.

Day 8- Encouraging Creative Play With Hasbro

I love toys that encourage the kids to use their imaginations. Toys don’t need a bunch of bells and whistles as long as you have imagination. Both of my children can get lost for hours creating stories with their favorite figures. We aren’t a no screen time household (I love a good movie or tv show) and my kids like bringing their favorite characters to life through play.

Littlest Pet Shop:

Littlest Pet Shop Style Set
Bean is crazy for Littlest Pet Shop. A Littlest Pet Shop Blind Bag is the way to that girl’s heart. She saves all of her tooth fairy money and money from doing chores to buy Littlest Pet Shop figures. This year, Littlest Pet Shop is at the top of her Christmas wish list. Bean has started making Littlest Pet Shop videos that she hopes to one day share on You Tube. The Littlest Pet Shop Style Set pictured above is on her list for Santa.

Littlest Pet Shop Mommy and Baby Sets
She also loves the Littlest Pet Shop Favorite Pets Assortments and would love to add all of the mommies and babies to her collection.

Straight out of the movies:

Turtle is all about the action heroes he sees in the movies. The Hubs has passed along a love for Star Wars, Spiderman, Thor and all of the Marvel superheroes. Turtle loves carrying his action figures around with him everywhere he goes and I often here him making them talk to each other. He calls him his “Guy Guys” and they are never too far away.

This year, on Turtles wish list is the Star Wars Command Star Destroyer Set. He and The Hubs have been watching the trailer for the new Star Wars movie on repeat.

He also has his eye on Marvel Titan Hero Figures. His two favorites are Spiderman and Thor. If he’s lucky enough to get Thor for Christmas he’ll have to keep an eye on him… Bean might steal him to play Barbie’s boyfriend. ;)

What toys that encourage imaginative play are on your children’s wish list this year?
